via The House Rabbit Society- one of the most respected bunny sites abounding in resources to help you make the best decisions about bunnies.

Note that pellets are only for rabbits with health issues prescribed by a bunny specialist/vet. And treats, including Peter Rabbit's favourite- the carrot- are for special days only, a few times a week.

Bunny Biz

The latest, from this week @ BunnyBook.

A great first week for BunnyBook kick started by the rescue of Leia from the pound, who is now recovering from illness at our nook. There are also 7 bunnies in the foster care section of the site and 3 in the pound. Please let me know if you can help.

Many new friends on the FB, which is super exciting. Bit by bit we will gather our strength.

Hot news this week was the feeding of live rabbits to a big cat rescue group in Tampa. You can read more about it on this facebook group:

Stop Big Cat Rescue Tampa  and others from using live domestic rabbits.

Some articles:

ABC Action News: Rescue Groups Collide over Feeding one animal to another

We have also been signing the following petitions:

and the following in favour of the myxomatosis vaccine to be made available in Oz:

Lastly, some of the team from Vic's Radical Rabbit have popped onto the facebook, a very valuable addition. I strongly urge you to support their campaign to send one million toy bunnies to the minister in favour of the myxo vaccine. You can find the letter to use here.

Don't forget to add anyone that might be interested or is looking for a bunny friend. And don't hesitate to e-mail me with questions, ideas, articles, news, artworks, poems, photos etc.

BunnyBook

Leia. Our first foster bunny.

Hi new friends,

I would love for anyone who is not in Sydney with a vested interest to start a BunnyBook blog for their area and am happy to have it as an arm from this page.

Look forward to getting to know you and fostering a positive energy that benefits the bunnies and their carers.

Please spread this page and let anyone who is interested in networking know about it. The stronger our network, the further we can stretch our efforts.

Clare.
